Sports Medicine Injury Clinics

It’s hard to believe the summer is over and the fall sports season is upon us.

The Orthopedic Institute takes great pride in our sports medicine facility, staff and the ability to work with the area schools and communities. We understand that people have a choice in sports medicine care and we would hope that the choice continues to be with the Orthopedic Institute. We are proud to provide our patients with a complete package of services that includes 6 sports medicine orthopedic surgeons, 1 sports medicine physician dealing with non-surgical injuries, 11 certified athletic trainers and a complete rehabilitation and sports enhancement facility. Our athletic training staff is also available for special event coverage and educational in-services.

With this in mind, the Orthopedic Institute will be providing an Acute Sports Medicine Injury Clinic on Saturday mornings from 9-11:00 a.m. for the weeks of August 30 through October 18, 2008. During this time, one of the sports medicine physicians will be in the clinic along with members of our athletic training staff to provide care and treatment of acute sports injuries. This clinic will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.; however, we encourage you to arrive early. Patients will not be seen that arrive after 11:00 a.m. unless prior arrangements have been made.

We are excited to continue our services to you, your school, your student athletes and your community. The Sports Medicine Hotline, 1-866-777-7678 or 605-977-6845, is available to coaches, parents and physicians allowing you a direct line to our athletic training staff about advice on injuries, braces, or to make appointments.

Again, please feel free to call us for any questions you may have about your sports medicine needs.

Sincerely,
Brad K. Pfeifle
