Dr. Smith is well-known locally for his expertise in sports medicine. He most recently practiced at McGreevy Clinic in Sioux Falls. He has served as Medical Director of the Avera McKennan Fitness Center and the Sports Medicine Department of McGreevy Clinic. Dr. Smith is a graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, and also received a master of science degree in exercise physiology from St. Cloud State University. He completed his family practice residency in Sioux Falls and completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Ohio State University and is the current team physician for SDSU athletics.
As a specialist in sports medicine, Dr. Smith provides nonsurgical treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and pain, primarily for sports related conditions.
