Dr. Looby received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of New Mexico Hospital and his fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was the team orthopedic surgeon for the New England Patriots football team, the Boston Bruins hockey team, the New England Revolution soccer team, and the Harvard University sports teams. He has been published in professional journals. Dr. Looby is the team surgeon for South Dakota State University and the Sioux Falls Storm.
